What are biotrue contacts made of?

Biotrue contact lenses are made from Nesofilcon A. The highly moist, hypergel material of these lenses also contain 78% water, to keep eyes comfortable during wear. Biotrue lenses use High Definition Optics technology to minimise spherical aberrations that can cause blurred vision.

Biotrue contact lens solution

Biotrue Multi Purpose Solution provides an all in one formula to help you look after your two weekly or monthly contact lenses. This solution was created with a hyaluronan lubricant to keep your lenses moisturised for up to 20 hours. This solution can be used with soft contact lenses including silicone hydrogel lenses. The solution is not suitable for rigid gas permeable lenses.

The Biotrue multi purpose solution mimicks the PH of your natural healthy tears. This solution effectively breaks down tear proteins that can build up on your lenses throughout the day. Use fresh Biotrue multi purpose solution to rinse your contact lenses and store your lenses too. Remember to discard solution from your lens case after each use.

Can you put Biotrue solution in your eye?

Although Biotrue is a gentle solution, it should not be used as rewetting drops or eye drops. This solution is not designed to be put directly into the eyes.

How to take care of Biotrue contact lenses

These daily disposables can be thrown away after a full day’s wear. They don’t require any additional cleaning routine, offering the most convenient and healthiest way of wearing contact lenses.

How long can I store contact lenses in Biotrue solution?

Contact lenses can be stored no longer than 30 days in this solution, provided the lenses are in an unopened lens case. The solution must be thrown away 90 days after opening.
