What are Acuvue 2 contact lenses?
Acuvue 2 are two weekly contact lenses that provide a superior level of comfort, convenience and visual clarity. Suitable for extended wear, these lenses can be worn for seven days without removal (if approved by your optician).
Acuvue 2’s silicone hydrogel technology gives the lenses deeply hydrating qualities and moisturising comfort. The high level of hydration means you're unlikely to need eye drops or gels to achieve that fresh and natural feeling. Silicone hydrogel allows oxygen to pass through the lens to the cornea of the eye, helping to combat dry eye. These UV blocking lenses will protect your eyes from harmful UV rays and prevent vision deterioration over time.
At Feel Good Contacts we recommend speaking to your optician to see if extended wear lenses would be suitable for you. For added convenience, they also include a visibility tint and 123-indicator for easy application.
Who makes Acuvue 2 contact lenses?
Acuvue 2 was developed by leading eye care experts Johnson & Johnson. These popular two weekly disposable contact lenses are high-quality contact lens for a cost-effective price. At Feel Good Contacts we stock genuine Acuvue 2 brand contact lenses, kept in its original packaging.
Why choose Acuvue 2 contact lenses?
These superb lenses are effective, reliable and gentle on the eyes. Acuvue 2 contact lenses feature an Infinity Edge Design technology for optimum and smooth lens wear. You can also choose from a 3, 6 or 12-month supply to suit your individual needs.
The manufacturer Johnson & Johnson are known for creating innovative and reliable contact lenses. With our Price Match Guarantee, we promise should you find your lenses cheaper elsewhere online, we’ll happily refund the difference. How long can you wear Acuvue 2?
These two weekly contact lenses can be worn daily for up to 14 days. When worn daily, these lenses must be taken out each night to be cleaned and stored in solution. How many hours in the day these contact lenses can be worn will vary from person to person. Typically, these lenses can be worn for 14 hours. This will depend on the sensitivity of your eyes you may have to wear them for less time than this.
Can you sleep in 2 week contacts?
Some contact lenses, such as Acuvue 2, are suitable for overnight wear (when prescribed by your eye doctor). However, here at Feel Good Contacts we don't recommend sleeping in your contacts. This is because it’s more difficult for oxygen to reach the cornea when your eyes are closed. The lens also acts as a physical barrier which can stop oxygen getting in and harbour bacteria.
