Acuvue Oasys Contact Lenses

What are Acuvue Oasys contact lenses?

Acuvue Oasys contact lenses are two weekly contacts, and part of the popular Acuvue range. This brand of two weekly lenses caters for a wide range of visual requirements including short-sightedness, long-sightedness, presbyopia and astigmatism.

Who makes Oasys contact lenses?

The Acuvue Oasys range is developed by leading eye care manufacturer Johnson & Johnson. Made with a silicone hydrogel material, the lenses allow more oxygen to pass through the lens than regular hydrogel lenses and enable five times more oxygen to reach the eye. They also feature Hydraclear Plus technology to help stabilise the tear film of your eyes, while minimising dryness and maintaining moisture.

What are the different types of Acuvue Oasys contact lenses?

Acuvue Oasys 1-Day with HydraLuxe are a healthy choice amongst daily contact lens wearers. They offer the convenience and additional hygiene of a fresh new lens every day, and have been designed to correct short-sightedness or long-sightedness.

Acuvue Oasys, Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism and Acuvue Presbyopia are two weekly contact lenses that deliver a healthier and convenient wearing schedule. They can be worn as extended wear, for seven days continuously, provided you’ve sought approval from your optician. Oasys for Astigmatism are designed as toric lenses to correct astigmatism, while Oasys for Presbyopia are a multifocal contact lens option.

How to take care of your Acuvue Oasys contact lenses

You can dispose of 1-Day with HydraLuxe lenses after a full day’s wear, without requiring a cleaning routine. This particular wearing schedule caters for those who have busy and active lifestyles, providing the flexibility to wear the contacts whenever you need.

Alternatively, the two weekly lenses must be cleaned and stored in solution overnight. We recommend using our best-selling comfi All-in-One solution, for everything you need in one bottle.

What are the other types of Acuvue contact lenses?

At Feel Good Contacts, we stock a wide selection of Acuvue contact lenses to offer all types of visual correction.

Acuvue 2 is another one of our two weekly lenses of outstanding quality and comfort, made with an impressive Infinity Edge design.

Alternatively, Acuvue Advance is a two weekly silicone hydrogel lens that’s available for correcting short-sightedness, long-sightedness and astigmatism.

If you’re after a daily disposable, you’ll find the 1 Day Acuvue range offers a wide selection of quality dailies.
